The O'Shea Award 

This award is given to a boy or girl who most ably demonstrated the traits of Perseverance, Courage, and Desire during the current year.  He/she need not be a starter, a star, or a letter winner.  The boy/girl should be the athlete who has overcome the most severe handicaps or the greatest adversity to participate in athletics during the current year.
