Overview

 

The show is open to any student in grades 9-10, and is designed to display the acting/performing/singing talents of the IHS students in a full-scale production. Faculty members are in charge of selecting the show, casting the roles and supervising direction, but students are responsible for all other aspects of production including design, choreography, construction, painting, costuming and light/sound coordination. Adults do not produce the show; students produce the show. The IHS drama department takes pride in this distinction.

 

The show runs annually in the spring immediately following the all-school musical. Auditions are held around the middle of February, and the show usually runs near the end of April.

 

If you have never worked in a theatrical production before, this show offers a great way to get involved. If you are an experienced veteran of the stage, this show will prove to be the most enjoyable theatrical experience of your high school career. This we guarantee.
