JROTC
Junior ROTC is a leadership development class held in the senior high school. It is an elective class open to all students, grades 9-12. New upper class students will be placed with the appropriate class level and not with freshmen.
Students do not have to take a JROTC class every school year.
The focus of the course for each level is on developing leadership and management skills that will help students in all phases of their school careers and lives.
There is absolutely no military obligation or military recruiting as part of the class. All uniforms and equipment are provided free of charge by the school and the Army. Students wear the Army uniform once a week, a total of 14 days per semester.
Please stop by and visit or call us at (724) 452-6041, extension 1089 should you have any questions or just want to visit to see if you might be interested in taking the class.
Look forward to having you join the Raider Battalion!
