Overview

The senior high art club allows students the chance to explore art in a more concentrated manner. Meetings are held after school for an hour and a half, approximately ten times throughout the year. Students will have the opportunity to work on their in-class assignments for a longer period of time. Special guest speakers and opening receptions at the district art gallery will be sponsored by the senior high art club.

As well as open studio time, students may have opportunities to work on school-related art projects such as murals or other semi-permanent art pieces to be displayed within the school. Art club is open to anyone in grades 11-12 but is suggested for those students who have current art classes and wish to pursue art after high school.
