Club Overview
If you are looking to learn fencing, the Seneca Valley Fencing Club exists to provide SVSD students, grades 7 – 12 instruction in fencing. In addition, we support participation in the Pittsburgh Interscholastic Fencing Association (PIFA) league in Western Pennsylvania for high school competitions.
Students participate in both the Foil and Epee competition seasons along with other local high schools. Both High School and Middle School students will have additional competitive opportunities through USA Fencing at regional, national and other levels.
Practices will run each school year, from September – May, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm each Thursday. The high school competition season runs Fridays from January - March for Foil and April - May for Epee each year. The Seneca Valley Fencing Club is a competitive "Winter Sport" with-in the district.
